Returns, Warranty & Shipping Information
Firebusters is an independent, informational website. We do not sell, ship, or warranty products. If you purchase through links on our site, your contract is with the merchant (the retailer/brand site you buy from). The merchant is solely responsible for order processing, shipping, returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims.
Who is my seller?
The company named on the external site’s checkout/invoice.
What does Firebusters do?
Publish educational guides and product round-ups. We do not take payment, hold stock, or arrange delivery.
Your consumer rights
Protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Remedies are sought from the merchant/manufacturer.
Returns & Exchanges
Return windows, exchange eligibility, and restocking fees are set by the merchant. Review the merchant’s policy on their website and invoice. Initiate requests directly with the merchant and keep your order number, proof of purchase, and photos (if applicable).
Manufacturer Warranty
Warranty terms (coverage, inclusions/exclusions, claim process) are provided by the manufacturer and/or merchant. Follow the instructions on the merchant or brand site. Keep serial numbers, receipts, photos, and a description of the fault. ACL guarantees apply to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose.
Shipping, Delivery & Tracking
Dispatch times, couriers, delivery fees, and tracking are managed by the merchant. For delays or missing parcels, contact the merchant with your order and tracking numbers. Risk during transit is governed by the merchant’s terms and the carrier’s policies.
Damaged on Arrival (DOA) & Lost Items
Inspect deliveries immediately. If damaged or incomplete, photograph packaging and contents and notify the merchant within their timeframe. For lost shipments, the merchant will liaise with the carrier to investigate and arrange a replacement or refund per their policy and applicable law.
How to Get Help or Escalate
Contact the merchant first (use the order confirmation/invoice). Firebusters can provide general guidance but cannot access merchant order systems or approve returns/refunds. If unresolved, seek advice from your state/territory consumer agency or the ACCC under the Australian Consumer Law.
Legal Notice: This page provides general information only and does not replace any merchant policy or your statutory rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Jurisdiction: Victoria, Australia. Policies on merchant sites may change without notice.
